We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also collect conversation data — the messages you send and receive — to provide the chat service and improve our platform.

  • To analyse usage patterns and improve the platform

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (httpOnly session cookies). These are required for the service to function. We also use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You may opt out of non-essential cookies via the cookie consent banner.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure MongoDB database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. Access tokens are short-lived and stored in httpOnly cookies, inaccessible to JavaScript.

5. AI Conversations

Messages you send are processed by an AI language model via the OpenRouter API to generate responses. Conversation history is stored in our database to enable continuity across sessions.

6. Usage Analytics & Model Improvement

We collect usage analytics — such as feature usage, message volume, and aggregate interaction patterns — to understand how the platform is used and to improve performance, reliability, and the overall user experience.

Anonymised conversations may be used to train and refine our AI systems and prompts in order to deliver a better user experience. Before any such use, content is anonymised and stripped of information that could reasonably identify you (such as your name and email). We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your Rights

You may delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting support through the in-app support system. You may also change your password at any time via the account settings.
